Intelligent Vehicle Undercarriage Scanner (IVUS)®

Through our collaboration with AS&E (American Science and Engineering), we provide cutting-edge screening technologies designed to detect explosives, weapons, and other illicit materials. Our solutions are trusted by security agencies, military forces, and critical infrastructure facilities to effectively manage and reduce security risks.

IVUS® is the industry-leading, fully automatic under vehicle inspection system.
Automatically inspect, detect, and secure with Gatekeeper’s Automatic Under Vehicle Inspection System. IVUS® swiftly identifies foreign objects, changes, and anomalies, automatically comparing the vehicle’s undercarriage to a reference image stored in the GEMS® database. Both the live image and the reference are displayed on the screen for quick and efficient analysis.
Immediate Under Vehicle Inspection & Threat Detection
As vehicles drive over the dual-view scanner, Gatekeeper’s machine learning technology generates two high-resolution, virtual 3D digital images of the vehicle’s undercarriage, creating a unique digital “fingerprint” for each vehicle. The dual-view feature enhances visibility, making it easier to spot potential threats hidden atop axles or crossbeams. Additionally, an overview/driver camera captures a standard view of the vehicle and driver, displaying it on the high-resolution touchscreen for seamless monitoring and analysis.
Automatic Foreign Object and Contraband Detection
Automatically identifies the vehicle’s make and model, detects any foreign objects or modifications, and highlights these changes within seconds. It establishes the vehicle’s unique "digital fingerprint" and alerts personnel to any potential threats, all while ensuring high and secure throughput.
Multi-Factor Vehicle Inspection Security System
Once the vehicle has cleared the scanning device, Gatekeeper’s Automatic Foreign Object Detection software takes just 4 seconds to automatically compare the vehicle’s undercarriage to a reference image stored in the database. Both images are displayed on the screen, and the system instantly identifies any foreign objects or modifications, highlighting them with a red ring. An audio and/or visual alarm is then triggered to immediately alert personnel.
